RE: Should Texas Adopt Immigration Laws Similiar to Arizona's???

Discgfr's blog post about immigration laws was very well written and I agree that Texas should have something similar to the Arizona immigration law. I am not saying we should do the exact same thing that Arizona has because they do have some flaws in there bill. For example, police can ask anybody who looks suspicious for identification that they are a legal American. I don't know about you, but I do not carry my birth certificate or passport around. This law is supposed to be aimed towards ALL illegal immigrants, but people from Mexico are a lot more noticeable than people from Canada. So more often than not, its going to be the Mexicans being asked for identification and that is not fair.

But we do need to do something about illegal immigration because it is hurting Americans. It is unfair that we have to pay our tax money to keep these immigrants in jail and to pay for there welfare when they don't have to pay for taxes themselves. The immigrants used to take the jobs that Americans did not want, but now with the high unemployment rate, people will take whatever they can get. But with illegal immigrants they are taking our jobs that our Americans need right now.

I also welcome anyone who wants to come to the U.S. for a better opportunity, but why not go about the right way? Just like Discglfr says, they should go through naturalization, and citizenship, and get document. I would also like to see them learn our native language. Maybe we should make it a required class before they can become a citizen.

But saying that every single person that comes on US soil should go through naturalization, and citizenship, and get document is being ignorant. Not everybody coming to America want to be a citizen may be the Americans don’t really know or understand what is happening in other parts of the world but that doesn't mean that every single immigrate don’t have different goes of coming to USA. Find out what Americans are doing in West Africa and their petroleum they bring corruption and destruction to some place all because gas which is consume here in USA check this link http://www.pbs.org/wnet/wideangle/episodes/once-upon-a-coup/full-episode/5496/
Also, I did not agree with his point against working. Coming into a country without the legal documents would not make the individual an illegal person but whether illegal or not they still deserve their human rights, but not being able to sympathize with their needs, the SAME needs that we have is simply unethical. They do what they can do to meet their family’s needs. So why complain about how YOUR tax dollars that the government pay for them to stay in jail? Don’t you know that if your government was wiser enough they will pay this money to those individual to go home and not return? If you think jail is fun go stay there and I will pay 75% of my income for tax and see if you would like spending my tax money that way. Whenever you pay your money just know you have put the government in trust and since you trust the government they will decide what to do with the money so my advice is you think something that will profit mankind and not your TAX DOLLARS. Practically 90% of the jobs they do affect you some way or the other e.g. cleaning lawns and all hard labor below minimum wage. Even fixing your car for very little money at Lamar 

Ok, being since I was the one who wrote the original post, I don't think you should call someone responding to the post ignorant. Second, if you want to come here you should do it legally PERIOD. Even if you don't want to be a citizen, you still need visa/tourist visa, etc. Check the law, you need an ID to walk around anywhere, citizen or not. You need a drivers license or state issued ID to be in public anywhere.
If you don't think people should have to do it legally, then I guess you also believe we should not prosecute rapists, murderers, pedophiles, drug lords, cannibals, etc. You get the point. There is one key word here- wait for it---ILLEGAL. Do it right and I have absolutely no problem with it, but ILLEGAL IS ILLEGAL---PERIOD. End of discussion.

To quote you "Coming into a country without the legal documents would not make the individual an illegal person " What??? That doesn't even make any sense, the sentence contradicts itself.

The next statement of "Whenever you pay your money just know you have put the government in trust and since you trust the government they will decide what to do with the money " Nope, not accurate agai. Just because I (as well as any other citizen) have to pay the government money doesn't mean I ( or anyone else) agrees with the way it is spent or trusts the government. It is what it is and it's what we have to live by.

Now, on the last thing about the jobs. I guarantee there are plenty of out of work Americans who would be happy to have those jobs at the current moment. And the people who have these josbs should have to pay taxes just like you and I do.

I will be happy to continue this discussion with you on my blog (http://discglfr.blogspot.com/). I just found this to be a little distasteful since you called someone ignorant on their blog when they were only responding to what I wrote
